Family-style dining and bed&breakfast Jura's Massif

3-star Gîtes de France approved to respect comfort's standards, 5 Flowers Farm is not a resting place but a family-style dining and a bed&breakfast. Stéphane and Maryline welcome you at home, in one of the five bedrooms with pretty names of flowers. These have individual bathrooms, with toilets, washbasin and shower. Bedrooms include two places beds to which may be added an extra bed. Sheets and bath towels are provided. We put at your disposal a folding bed, a bath, a chair, a baby's feeding bottle heater and other things for babies. For the lunchs, we put at your disposal a converted kitchen (fridge, electrical plates, dishes, etc.)

Like Bed & Breakfast in Great Britain, breakfast is included with the night. Copious and essentially made with home-baked and local produces ( jams, fruit juices, home-baked cake or brioche, Comté, bread and butter), it surely will whet your appetite, so as to turn this stay in authentic country to good account. Stéphane and Maryline will enjoy advising you about circuits, ballads, activities at your service during the day, when you will have your first snack. Family-style dining Jura's Massif

If you choose family-style dining formula, point it out during your reservation or when you arrived so that Maryline could make you discover franc-comtoises' specialities during savoury and convivial dinners. For instance : roesti, saltings and home-baked hams, chickens, rabbits and veal breeded in the farm, hot Mont d'or and Comté, as well as the famous plateau's fondue made with two cheeses, our Comté and the Emmental of our swiss neighbours. The whole served with Jura's wines, red and white, as well as aperitif created by Maryline, made with Macvin, fruits and nut's wine.

Welcome to the farm

Maryline and Stéphane registered their activity in the « Bienvenue à la ferme »'s network, which gather together 500 farmers in France. Each one proposes an individualized service, giving the chance to discover a region as if you were at home and yet out of the beaten tracks. Moreover, at the 5 Flowers Farm, we make it a point of honour to save up for you farm's and local produces, because here is made all of the local delicatessens, saltings and other meals made with meat and specialities of this beautiful region.

Activities in the farm

Rural lodging also give the chance to discover different profession corps in a farmer's day.

In the 5 Flowers Farm, Stéphane invites you to follow him in his different everyday activities : milking, animals care ( you parents, don't forget that your children will love bottle-feeding the calf or throwing down some seeds in our hen house, or even offering some grass to the rabbits). As for you, the olds, what's preceding isn't forbidden ! You also will be able to listen to Stéphane explaining you the difference between oat, wheat and others cereals.

In any case, when you live in a town and you have the chance to get again in touch with a local cultivation and the craftsmen's produces came up of it every day, change from the old routine and happiness of simple things, based on seasons and quality of living will definitely meet you.
